The decision to humanely euthanize a beloved pet is not an easy one. In fact, euthanasia might be one of the most difficult choices you will ever have to make for your pet. The decision takes time, reflection, and bravery on your part. At Bear Creek Veterinary Care, we understand that the last appointment can be a very sensitive and stressful time, and we strive to provide the best possible care for you and your pet until the very end. We want you to feel comfortable and supported, and we will do everything we possible to help you through such a difficult time.

In order to make your pet’s final time with you as comfortable and less stressful as possible, we provide services to include: hospice care, medical boarding, and house call euthanasias.

Bear Creek Veterinary Care offers a variety of options for your pet’s final resting place:

  • Cremation is the most common choice, and you can choose whether or not you would like to have your pet’s ashes returned to you.
  • We work directly with a local eco-friendly crematorium and ensure your pet arrives at the crematorium in accordance with your wishes. They offer a wide choice of urns and personalized memorials that you can chose from when you bring your pet in for the procedure.
  • Burial is another option. You may want to bury your pet in your own yard, but before doing so, be sure to check your local city, county, and state ordinances for any restrictions.
